Here at Red River Gorge Log Cabins we have formed a great business relationship with our local bank. If possible we always recommend paying the lot off first. The land can then be appraised as part of the entire construction loan. Generally if you purchase the land then you would not need to put any money down at closing and it will speed up up the entire application process. Since the first of the year we have worked hard with our local bank and been successful in having 2 construction loans for clients approved for local builds.
